Volunteers Needed for Plano Balloon Festival

We’re looking for some volunteers, needed for the 2014 Plano Balloon Festival on Sunday, September 21, from early morning to Noon. We also have some needs on Friday and Saturday for those interested (Packet Pick Up spots, Event Set Up). Our greatest need is Sunday morning around the Balloon Fun Run.

The festival is located on Spring Creek Parkway, just east of 75 near Jupiter.

mainCity House has been asked to provide about 300 volunteers for the half-marathon, 5K, and family fun run. In return, we will receive $5,000 or more, which goes to help the at-risk kids we serve!

We’re using VolunteerSpot (the leading online signup and reminder tool) to organize our upcoming activity.

Please sign up for City House Volunteers Balloon Fest 2014 – here’s how it works in 3 easy steps:

These are the events that are a lot of fun to be involved with. We have a variety of shifts and responsibilities available. For the Water Stops, children are welcome to volunteer with their parents as they hand out snacks and water to runners and encourage them on their race. Community service hours for school, NHS, court-ordered, or YMSL are available. In fact, some of the shifts offer double hours.

If you have any questions about volunteering, please contact Lisa Rodgers at LRodgers@cityhouse.org
