City House Part of North Texas Giving Day on Sept. 19

North Texas Giving Day is Thursday, September 19, and City House is proud to be part of it. North Texas Giving Day is an annual one-day DonorBridge-powered fundraising event that has pumped more than $35 million into the local community since 2009. The event is managed and run by Communities Foundation of Texas.

City House is one of many nonprofits and charities that benefit from North Texas Giving Day. Donations of $25 or more can be made from 7 am to midnight on September 19 to City House or any of the 1,000-plus certified nonprofits associated with the day. These donations will be amplified by more than $1.5 million in bonus funds and prizes. Communities Foundation of Texas is aiming to exceed last year’s record-breaking 37,800 total donations totaling $14.4 million.

“We are thrilled and excited to be involved with North Texas Giving Day and Communities Foundation of Texas,” said City House Executive Director Teresa Keenan. “We appreciate everyone who participates in this great event, whether it is in support of City House or any of the other worthy nonprofits. Thank you for considering giving on this day and maximizing your donation through the bonus funds that are being offered.”
